The method of exposing the aggregate of fresh concrete can generate wash of water that contains cement and other particulate matter. All wash water must be contained on site and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Never allow wash water to enter any drainage system or natural waterway.

Pre Mix recommends, after exposing the aggregate, a light acid wash and saw cutting of concrete as soon as practically possible. A minimum of two coats of a suitable sealer be applied to reduce the risk of any staining occurring on the concrete surface.
