TYPES OF FINISHES OF EXPOSED AGGREGATES

Water Wash Finish
Ideal for driveways, pool surrounds and pathways. A cost effective hard wearing surface adding value and distinction to your home.

Sandblasting Finish
By sandblasting, any rough edges on the stone are removed, giving a slightly smoother surface. A preferred method when vertical surfaces are encountered or with extremely steep driveways.

Grinding And Sandblasting Finish
The ultimate outdoor finish!!!!! By surface grinding of the concrete we reveal even more variation in stone colour and as a result the surface is extremely flat. A very light sandblast retextures the surface back to a non-slip finish. Saw-cut into squares, makes a unique outdoor entertainment area, not to mention swimming pool surrounds. Extremely impressive!!!!

Grinding And Polishing Finish
Remember terrazzo, this is more refined. Suitable for internal floors and outdoor covered areas. Using a hyper floor method, the concrete surface is ground and then finally buffed to give you a mirror like finish. At the end of the grinding process the concrete surface is extremely hard and does not require sealing. As a feature or for the whole floor in your new home; simply stunning!!!!

WHAT IS EXPOSED AGGREGATE CONCRETE?

The term Exposed Aggregate is exactly that. We are exposing the stone that we make the concrete from. Inturn this gives us a very hard wearing surface as stone is generally harder than concrete. We are able to use a multitude of aggregates including quartz, granites, basalts and marble, to name a few. The colour of the concrete can be either a similar colour to your stone choice or a contrast. Results can be stunning. Exposed aggregate concrete is used in driveways, footpaths, pool surrounds and in effect anywhere that concrete or paving slabs are used.
